Momentum was founded in 2004. The charity supports families and their children facing cancer or another life-limiting condition from all over Surrey and South West London.They support around 150 families directly, whose children are undergoing treatment. Many thousands more children benefit from their hospital improvements. Each year they arrange hundreds of trips and treats, and organise respite holidays for around 70 families. If a child sadly dies, they stand by families for as long as they need us through our Momentum Echoes group, and currently support around 100 bereaved families.
